Ukraine Air Base Hit As Russia Uses Iskander Missiles, Geran-2 Drones In Another Counter Air Strike

Russia struck a Ukrainian MiG-29 air base in Poltava Oblast with missiles and drones overnight on June 10. The Russian attack targeted the Mirgorod Air Base, which is home to the 40th Tactical Aviation Brigade flying MiG-29 fighters. Ukraine said that Russia struck the base with Iskander-M (ballistic) and Iskander-K (cruise missiles), and Geran-2 drones. Russia launched a total of 8 ground-based missiles and 35 drones from the area of the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov. Some of the missiles and drones were directed at targets in Odesa and Kharkiv regions. Air raid sirens sounded throughout Ukraine overnight on June 10. Kyiv said its air defence shot down eight suicide drones and two of three missiles launched on Odesa Oblast. Watch this video to know more.
